Tensions broke out in the Ojodu-Berger area of Lago State after a multi-storey building collapsed.

The building is said to have collapsed, capturing many of the buildings in it.
After a four-story building collapsed in Lagos, many people were trapped and feared of death.
It was reported that the building under construction was underway at the time of the incident.
The unfortunate incident happened around 8 am this morning, Saturday, April 19, 2025.
The incident was confirmed as Punch’s incident, a witness who begged for anonymity described it as a ticking bomb, adding that it also has a popular restaurant, the QuarineRright restaurant.
Anyone who knows the building should know that it is a bomb waiting to explode. I hardly go there to buy food because I am always afraid that the building will collapse when it is there.
“At present, we cannot determine how many people are trapped under the trash can, but emergency responders have begun rescue operations.” He said
According to the gathering, operators from the Lagos State emergency management agency have arrived at the scene as they work to rescue people trapped under the trash can.
