    • U.S. streaming Kai Cenat has raised more than $1 million to support the school project in Makoko Lagos. Inspired by his visit to the community, Senate said the funds will improve children’s classrooms and learning facilities.
    • He promised to continue supporting the project until “real change” is achieved.

Popular American streamers and content creator Kai Cenat has attracted global attention after raising more than $1 million to support a school project in Marcocock, Lagos, Nigeria.

After Cenat’s recent visit to the makoko community, he witnessed the poverty of educational infrastructure and daily struggles faced by children in the region, a charitable effort. Due to their resilience and desire to learn, he promises to use his influence and platform to make lasting differences.

Through live streaming, fan donations and sponsorship, Cenat successfully raised over $1 million, which will be used to build appropriate classrooms, provide learning materials and improve facilities for Makoko’s children.

Speaking about the achievement, Kai expressed his gratitude to his fans and partners, emphasizing that the mission is far from over. “We’ve crossed $1 million, but that’s just the beginning. These kids deserve more and I won’t stop until we see the real change,” he said.

The news has attracted widespread praise on social media, and many Nigerians not only focus on the plight of Makoko children around the world, but have also taken tangible steps to address the issue.
