Inter supporters will put Lautaro Martinez in the UEFA Champions League second leg against Barcelona.
Lautaro Martinez suffered a muscle injury in her first half against Barcelona on Wednesday. He was replaced by Mehdi Taremi at the beginning of the second half of the game.
French defender Benjamin Pavard missed last week’s first leg draw, and the weekend’s Serie A champion will return to the selection. International head coach Simone Inzaghi confirmed that Pavard had returned to training on Monday and was entitled to provide it for the second round.
Inter Milan coach Simeone Inzaghi confirmed that medical staff will have to give him a green light on Martinez and Parvad.
He said
“We will be working with the medical staff to decide with the players themselves because they will have to tell me how they feel, Parwald took part in the first part of the training yesterday and he didn’t feel it.
Inter supporters will hope both players can get the match against Barcelona as they look to be the second time in three years to reach the Champions League final.
