    • Law firm CS Nworgu & Co. has issued a demand notice of ₦7 million to 2Face and Annie Idibia, accusing them of non-payment of professional fees for the lease of a property in Abuja.
    • The company claimed a check for payment bounced and gave the couple seven days to resolve the debt before taking legal action.

Law firm CS Nworgu & Co. has issued a formal notice of demand to Nigerian music icon, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, and his wife, Hon. Natasha Idibia is allegedly owed £7 million in professional fees.

Instagram blogger Cutie_julls circulated a photo of the alleged letter, dated October 31, 2025. The notice was sent to the couple’s residence in Gusape, Abuja.

According to the company, their client, CE Nwogbo & Associates, assisted the couple in renting a five-bedroom semi-detached duplex apartment at Edwin Clerk Crescent.

The Edibias, who reportedly paid £40m up front and agreed to pay a further £40m by December 2025, failed to pay £7m in professional fees charged to facilitate the deal after receiving two years of rent on the property, lawyers said.

The letter also claims that a check issued by the couple to settle the payment returned unpaid. The company noted that the unpaid fees represented the livelihood of employees involved in the transaction.

CS Nworgu & Co. asked the couple to pay 7 million won within seven days, saying the notice was a final request before taking legal action to recover the money.
