A man identified as Mahmud Usman Garba dragged a businessman, Alhaji Husseni Kashimu, in the chief magistrate in Jalingo, Talaba State, allegedly had an extramarital affair with his wife.
The complainant Garba, a resident of the Rafin Sanyi area of Jalingo, filed a complaint in court on 13 January 2025, claiming that Husseni Kashimu had been seducing his wife Hadiza Sani and having an S3xual date with her.
Tahir Hassan told the court in the March 16 case hearing that Hussain Kashimu held a settlement meeting at the Tigun of Tigun in the Kurmi local government area of Talaba state, where he admitted that he was having a commissioned wife with Mahmud Usman and promised to establish a relationship with him.
Hassan further told the court that after the aforementioned settlement, Kahim did not stop the relationship, but continued to date with married woman Hadiza Sani, who shared five children with her husband Mahmud Usman.
The trial chief magistrate Chris Jonah postponed the case on April 9, 2025 to continue the hearing.
He directed the prosecutor’s committee, Danlami Shehu, to assemble the remaining two witnesses for a quick trial in the case on April 9.
