Man St@BS birthday party guests to D3ATH in Ogun

Ogun State Police Command has launched a raid for a suspect identified as Amoshin, allegedly at a birthday party in the Arinu area of iju-ota, Tunde Majekodunmi, 37.

The incident occurred on Friday night, March 7, 2025.

The headquarters spokesman Omolola Odutola confirmed the incident on Monday, saying Majekodunmi was deadly during a dispute with his brother who fled the suspect.

PPRO said the victim’s younger brother, Yusuf, reported the incident at the Onipanu Police Department around 8:45 p.m. Friday.

The victim had an argument with a man named Toheeb and participated in a birthday celebration, known as “Tabaiye”.

According to the gathering, the dispute escalated, causing serious wounds when Toheeb’s older brother Amosun allegedly broke the bottle and st@bbed majekodunmi in the lower part of his left arm.

It was also revealed that other guests and witnesses took the victim to two different hospitals, but he was reportedly turned down by medical staff.

Police revealed that Majekodunmi was later confirmed by medical staff when they arrived at the OTA General Hospital, which was the third medical institution he was taken to after the incident.

“Our soldiers visited the scene, took photos and transferred the body to a hospital morgue for an autopsy. The suspect Amosun was still large and authorities launched a raid to arrest him. The case is being investigated by the Department of Crime Department (DCB), and efforts to track the suspect continue,” Odutola added.
