Police in Kisumu, eastern Kenya, are looking for a man who viciously attacks his 24-year-old ex-girlfriend Cynthia man, She caused his injury to threaten her as she left him to another man.
The suspect Sebi Obonyo reportedly paired the woman at the home of Nyakbong’Kamjulu Village at around 4.45pm on Friday, April 18, 2025, with sharp objects on his left ear and chest.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation (DCI) confirmed the incident in a statement.
“Thanks to the neighbors for their quick response, they heard her scream and rushed to the scene, forcing the attackers to flee before confirming the worst case.”
“However, the massive bleeding is rapidly absorbing her life and being jeopardized by Jaramogi Oginga Odinga training and referral to the hospital.
Preliminary information provided by neighbors to police showed that the attacker (Sebi Obonyo) was not satisfied with her better choice after being left by her ex-girlfriend, thus ambushing alone in her new boyfriend’s home.
“As she continues to fight for the life of the hospital, locals and police are moving in unison to see the suspect being booked.”
