Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Eno has settled the dispute over his public support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and insisted that his position is a matter of belief rather than a betrayal of his party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Governor Eno, who spoke to a group of supporters at a rally in the Ikot Ekpene local government area, said his support for the president’s decision was intentional, out of sincerity rather than political opportunism.

“I, I don’t know how to speak from both sides of my mouth.” He said.

Governor Eno revealed that although some political actors secretly promised allegiance to Tinubu behind closed doors, behaving differently in the public, he chose to expect his position.

“The other day, I said I would support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, people said, “Why do I say that?” In the evening, they went there to tell dad “We will support you” and in the afternoon they did another thing,” he said.

“I support Baba Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term. The time is up, I will tell you why, the time has not come yet. But let me keep it first. Lie meaninglessly. ”

Eno hinted that his reasons will become more obvious in the near future, suggesting that Tinubu’s development efforts at Akwa Ibom will speak for himself.

“You will see what he does for our state and you will know why we shouldn’t go anywhere else. ” He said. “So if you want another support, wait – when he ends, we will support another person now.”

However, he quickly clarified that this position does not mean giving up his PDP roots.

“akwa ibom doesn’t know how to trigger it,He said. ”This does not stop me from becoming a member of the party. I have the right to express my opinion. ”

The governor also received political enhancement during the rally, noting that his second ambition has been affirmed by the Senate President Godswill Akpabiopublicly express support.

“The Senate President has told me a lot of Fora,” he said. This has been confirmed by a vote today, and our mother also talked about their support for the second term of Rev. Umo Eno. ”

Ino said: “So if you’re alone, I’ll enjoy it myself. You fell in love with me, I fell in love with you. NA play, don’t fight. If you fall in love with me, I fall in love with you. ”
