In a recent interview on Arise TV, Senator Natasha Akpoti revealed details about a private phone conversation involving Senate President and Senator Michael Bamidele.
According to Senator Akputti, the first call was in the early morning July 23, 2024just right 12:14 amfrom Senator Michael Bamidele – the senior MP she describes is usually respected, usually calm. Akpoti claimed that during the brief call, Senator Bamiddle expressed concerns about the ongoing public rebound and suggested that other senior members could also face consequences if the Senate president is forced to resign.
Soon after, 12:26 amSenator Akputti said she received a second call – this time directly from the Senate president.
