Nigerian police seal church over suspected killing of LASU graduates
The Nigerian Police Command in Lagos State has sealed a church that allegedly killed Lagos State University, Rasu, Admora Ogunibod.
Command spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the development while speaking with reporters at the Ikeja command headquarters on Monday.
Handining said some people in the church claimed that 28-year-old Oguenbod was killed and buried to prevent his arson.
He said: “After intelligence reports that some people plan to burn the church with revenge, the church is sealed and we don’t want that to happen.
“It’s still a suspicious crime scene. We still need to look at it carefully, and we may need to revisit the scene multiple times before we can gather evidence.”
Hundeyin also said public updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
According to him, three suspects were arrested and detained during the investigation that continued.
