In other news… A tenant in Belgium has expressed shock after she allegedly asked her to move out of her apartment after he found unwashed dishes in her kitchen.

The woman, known as @chefvee42 on TikTok, said she had lived in the house for nine years without any problems until her landlord came to fix the fly screens and discovered the dishes were dirty.

According to her, he claimed that “not washing the dishes might stain the walls” and told her to find another place to stay. She expressed disbelief and said she kept her apartment reasonably clean.

The video went viral, sparking debate about tenants’ rights and landlords’ responsibilities, with many questioning whether such evictions were legal.

In other news… Prince Audi Okojie, a Nigerian politician and husband of actress Mercy Johnson, has been criticized for a school renovation project in his hometown of Uromi, Edo State.

Okojie through the National Senior Secondary Education Commission (NSSEC) has been renovating Our Lady of Lourdes Girls Grammar School.

Sharing a clip of the inspection on Instagram, he expressed satisfaction with the project, which includes construction of art science laboratories, renovation of classrooms, construction and equipping of ICT centers, installation of inverters, provision of boreholes, solar street lights, etc.
