The 2024/25 Premier League season officially ends and is now the best player to recognize the outstanding season and win the Best Young Player of the Season (2024/25) award.
At the start of the 2024/25 Premier League season, eight more than a thousand players were shortlisted for eight outstanding players. These players are based on their impressive form and how they can help their team succeed this season.
Who is the nominee for the young Premier League player in the 2024/25 season?
(1) Liam Drapp (Ipswich Town)
Ipswich Town striker Delap was the first player to be nominated for the Hoberlot Young Player Award, despite playing for a relegated team. The 22-year-old won Manchester City’s PL2 season player award on 2020/21, scoring 12 of Ipswich’s 35 Premier League goals.
(2) Anthony Elanga (Nottingham Forest)
Elanga has been a key figure in the European Champions League qualifying challenge. His name brought him to the third of all players this season, the fourth Forest player to assist the Premier League season.
(3) Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool)
Ryan Gravenberch also received a nomination for the Best Player Award, the heartbeat of Arne Slot’s champion, playing the host of the Liverpool midfielder as the Reds won only the second Premier League title. The 22-year-old Dutchman missed just one game and won 176 duels, played 67 tackles and 57 interceptions and contributed with four assists on the offense.
(4) Dean Huijsen (Bornemouth)
The 20-year-old has played 181 gaps and won 114 duels while also scoring three goals, which is a good reward for the defenders. He helped Bournemouth set a club record score for the Premier League season.
(5) Cole Palmer (Chelsea)
Palmer will seek to replicate the same feat as he won the Young Player of the Year last season. Despite the slow ending of the game, Palmer, 23, had 15 goals and eight assists, with only four players able to increase his goal percentage by 23 points. He became the first player in the first half to score four goals in the first half, a feat he played against Bournemouth.
(6) Joao Pedro (Brighton)
The Brazilian has been the star of head coach Fabian Hurzeler’s first Premier League season. He surpassed his best top goal of all time, scoring 10 times and also scored six assists.
(7) Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa)
The 22-year-old enjoyed a stunning first full season in Aston Villa, scoring eight goals and nine assists in the Champions League.
(8) William Saliba (Asenal)
Saliba has been one of the best defenders in the Premier League for the past two seasons. Arsenal admitted the fewest goals of any team, with 33 of them, and the Frenchman contributed 12 clean sheets.
After accumulating public votes with a combination of football experts to decide the winner, the winner will be confirmed, which will be announced on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
