Super Hawks and Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi were put in a coma after a recent incident against Leicester City.

What’s wrong with Taiwan Awoniyi?
The Nigerian international forward was taken to the hospital on Monday after the club’s medical staff stressed the need for emergency treatment of injuries as Awoniyi collided with the post office after Foxes balanced earlier in the second half.
But if the informant of the day raised the flag earlier, the incident could be avoided when the Nigerian was in an offside position.
Forest also issued a statement because OT involves the damage situation of Taiwan Awoniyi. In a statement issued by the club, Awoniyi underwent surgery and recovered well.
“Nottingham Forest can confirm that Taiwan Awoniyi recovered well after an emergency surgery to severe abdominal injury during Sunday’s game. The severity of his injury is a powerful reminder of the physical risks in the game and why the health and well-being of the players must always come first. Forest and Super Hawks supporters will hope that Awoniyi will be fully restored soon.
