    An Onitsha businessman has rewarded his apprentice with a £30m cash gift and a shop to start his own business in a touching moment that has sparked the admiration of Nigerians online.

    In a viral video shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), the businessman praised the young man for the discipline, respect, consistency and dedication he has shown over his years of service. He then stunned onlookers by announcing the generous settlement, eliciting loud cheers and emotional reactions from those present.

    The event was reportedly held at the Onitsha main market where the boss publicly presented the apprentice with a check and handed over a shop as a sign of trust and appreciation for his loyalty and hard work.
