The team representing popular Nigerian figure Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Pele, has finally spoken out after days of public speculation about his arrest and overall health.
According to a previous report by Legit.ng, the Nigerian police confirmed that Peller was arrested for deliberately crashing his SUV. This incident attracted widespread attention online. Video of the crash circulated on social media, and sources said it may be related to his emotional distress after breaking up with girlfriend Jarvis.
Peller management addressed the situation in an official statement released on Wednesday, December 17, in an effort to clarify the facts and ease public concerns.
The statement acknowledged the spread of rumors but stressed that some reports were misleading or inaccurate.
