Viral video shows three alleged kidnappers were questioned after being arrested at Victory Manor in Lagos State.
These people were stripped and whipped by the residents.
During the trial, the suspect identified himself as Ifeanyi (from Anambra State), Stanley Emmanuel aka Davido (from IMO State) and Sadiq (from Kwara State). They claimed Davido was the team leader and he brought everyone together.
All three suspects admitted that they came nearby to “kidnapping” but vowed not to return to nearby again.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin reacted to the video after sharing it on X.
He wrote: “The incident was not reported to the police. However, the investigation began to reveal what was really going on, find the man and take further necessary action.
“The Chairman of Real Estate, two other EXCO members and one resident are currently providing the ongoing investigation to the police. Further updates will be provided in due course.”
