The Nigerian news platform learned that the presidential directive issued by the White House on Saturday ordered the heads of departments and institutions to immediately implement the revocation.

In the memorandum, the president said he determined that the designated individuals retain access to confidential information “no longer in the national interest”.

The heads of executive departments and agencies have been directed to take “all other actions necessary” to revoke any active safety permits held by these persons.

Affected persons will no longer have access to confidential information or “cannot follow to ensure access to U.S. government facilities.”

They are also prohibited from receiving confidential briefings, such as the president’s daily briefing, and access to confidential information held by any member of the intelligence community.
