Rapper, Ice Prince reflects on popular music? oleku? And the journey ahead of fame (video)

Nigerian rapper Ice Prince recently opened up emotional and personal journeys about breaking through popular songs “status”share how the song changed his life and how his late mother only witnessed the beginning of it all.

According to the rapper, “When Oleku came out, my mom was still alive…she was kind of like witnessing me becoming this ice prince…but she passed away like a year after this song came out.”

Although she didn’t see the full impact of his fame, she saw him perform a few times and was there when his star started.

state It’s not just a hot spot, it’s a turning point. Prince Ice describes this experience as “incredible,” Recalling how the track brought him to the whole continent. “I’m going to Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Ghana, Cameroon… South Africa. God is great, man.”

But behind this success is the hustle and bustle that has not been seen for more than ten years. “I’ve been in the studio for 11 years in a row.” He said. “No school, no real job. I helped in the studio and even once became a studio manager.”

After years of grinding, Ice Prince briefly sums this up: “God finally answered the phone.”
