Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid reportedly agreed on terms of their withdrawal.

The Italian’s future at the club is about to end, and Xabi Alonso has long been touted as his successor.

He has links to the open Brazil job, but reportedly he refused a proposal to bring them to the 2026 World Cup.

According to a brand new report from track and field, a deal is said to have been reached that will be seen leaving Santiago Bernabéu at the end of the season, possibly soon after Sunday’s clash with Barcelona.

According to the report, “The dialogue was held with Madrid about his exit, which largely depends on reaching an agreement on his salary in the remaining contract.”

Now Real Madrid will look for someone in the aftermath to fill his shoes and take Xabi Alonso, Raul Gonzalez and Alvaro Arbeloa as possible alternatives.

Madrid still has to pay Ancelotti next year as his contract expires only in 2026, which has been included in the negotiation delay.

Ancelotti is believed to be considering a huge offer in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi contract will report that Ancelotti will receive a net of €50 million (£42 million), which may be difficult for him to refuse.

Ancelotti, 65, faces pressure this season, despite being one of the most decorated managers of all time and has brought great success to Santiago Bernabeu.

Among the two leaders who manage the Spanish Giants, he won 15 trophys, including three Champions League titles and two La Liga titles.
