Mykhailo Mudryk may last for a long time, as recent reports suggest that the Chelsea winger has been accused of violating anti-doping rules.

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has been heavily charged by the Football Association (FA) for alleged violations of anti-doping rules, a development that could leave the Ukrainian international banned from football for up to four years.

In a statement released by the FA, Mudryk was confirmed to face charges related to the anti-doping regulations of Regulation No. 3 and 4 and/or the use of prohibited substances.

The Football Association said, “We can confirm that under Regulations 3 and 4, Mykhailo Mudryk is accused of violating anti-doping rules, accusing his existence and/or use of prohibited substances. Since this is an ongoing case, it is impossible for us to comment further at this time.”

These regulations are consistent with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Code and can maintain the integrity of professional football. Article 3 refers to the existence of prohibited substances in the player system, while Article 4 involves the use or attempt to use such substances.

Although no details about a specific substance or method of testing have been released, it has a lot of implications. If found guilty, Mudryk could face a ban of up to four years in all football-related activities.

The 23-year-old joined Chelsea in January 2023 and has gained a lot of attention from Shakhtar Donetsk, but his time in the Premier League is full of moments of hope and constant inconsistency. This latest development adds serious uncertainty to his career and Chelsea’s plans.

Chelsea has not issued an official statement and it is not clear whether the club was informed of the case before it was published. Currently, Mudryk is still investigating as the process unfolds.
