    • Chioma shared campaign visuals, including photos and videos, on social media to promote her political vision and agenda.

Nollywood actress-turned-politician, Chioma Ifemeludike is making headlines as her campaign visuals ahead of the November 8 Anambra governorship election garnered attention online.

Chioma, who represents the Africa Action Congress (AAC), shared a series of photos and videos on social media highlighting her political vision and campaign agenda.

In the post, she showed off a range of stylish outfits and confidently described herself as “the best person for the position.”

    She wrote:

“I am the flag bearer of the Africa Action Congress and I proudly declare myself the best candidate for the Anambra governorship election on November 8. The beacon is about to shine.”

The campaign visual quickly went viral on X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram, triggering reactions from thousands of Nigerians.

While many praised her confidence, intelligence and calm, others questioned whether her glamorous style was appropriate for the political stage.

Undeterred, Chioma responded with a new post and campaign video the next day.

    She said:

“Don’t let anyone mislead or confuse you. Yes, a person can embody beauty and wisdom at the same time. True beauty and grace reflect courage, kindness, and wisdom This is me. Ndi Anambra, it’s time to vote for social change. “

In this brief video, she discusses why she entered politics, the unique challenges women face in a male-dominated field, and her commitment to dismantling political patriarchy while inspiring Nigeria’s youth.

@2wyth.gbedupoet: “Leadership has no custom dress code. If she has the ability and the dream, let her pursue it. Those who dress like “deep life” are looters of public funds, so this is not achieved through dress code. Please format your thoughts and get rid of mental slavery.”

@leeeymarrrr: “It’s unbelievable that you all claim there is no specific dress code for political offices…she can dress better than this please please”

@flo_316: “Is this what the current governor’s son is wearing on IG good?”

@smart_knowledge65: “I wanted to criticize her but came to the comments section and one person wrote that most of the muggers were people dressed like Deeperlife members. Let’s evaluate her abilities and her past record. Because I can support anyone against Soludo”
