MNJTF/MNJTF/Operation Hadin Kai Forces successfully carried out a suspected ISWAP informant in the Karagawaru area of the Borno State Kaga Local Government Area during a successful ambush operation.
Zagazola Makama reported that the operation was part of the ongoing Desert Movement IV operation, which was carried out by troops of 29 task force brigades in the early hours of Friday.
The troops were waiting at the suspected border crossing point, around 12:30 a.m., the source said, seeing and getting engaged to the suspicious informant.
“The troops were in the army and a suspicious Boko Haram informant and took back a locally made Danish gun and a bicycle used by the suspect,” the source said.
The troops returned safely at around 3:40 a.m. without casualties.
