Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi (commonly known as Tems) has produced an impressive crochet portrait for her after rewarding a well-crafted fan.
The fan, known as Odum Ifeoluwa, recently appeared on X to showcase unique pieces. Fans revealed in her post that she spent 70 hours completing 8,925 stitches to create Tems’ crochet tapestries portrait, marking the first anniversary since she started crocheting.
Despite a modest following, hoping to get the singer’s attention, ifeoluwa dedicated the project to Tems and expressed admiration. “I hope @temsbaby can see this…I finished the crochet portrait of Tems after 8,925 stitches and 70 hours. I did this to mark the 1st anniversary of my start of crochet. It was also my first time doing tapestry. I love you Tems,” she wrote.
