A Nigerian woman received a $2,000 surprise cash gift from Tems manager Muyiwa Awoniyi after she had a fierce conversation with the body of a singer on X (formerly Twitter).

The incident comes after a viral post by Grammy Award-winning singer Tems, who talks about constant online discussions about her body, especially the back comments about her. In her candid post, Temus summoned critics and stressed that her body was her own hug, adding that she never felt the need to prove or refute anyone’s opinion.

Her message sparked a series of mixed reactions on the platform, including comments from users, who he claimed only one person made. In response to the ongoing chatter, Muyiwa Awoniyi tweeted, saying, “They don’t feel anything on this app. Not even half the feeling.”

When the user criticized his generalization, another woman identified as @chidimmaibe jumped in and clarified that it was already on Tems’ body, not just an ignorant and negative tweet.

Manager Tems was impressed by her keen reaction and defense, contacted @chidimmaibe on X, asked for details of her account and gave her $2,000, gifting her “It makes sense.”

Unexpected gestures quickly spread, with many social media users praising the manager’s generosity and the lady’s boldness.
