    • Scarlet Gomez has rejected a £200million request from a social media user who claimed they were related by sharing a surname, humorously pointing out that the name came from her husband.

Nollywood actress Scarlett Gomez has humorously responded to a social media user who demanded £200 million from her, claiming they are related because of the same surname.

    In a post on

“We have the same last name… so we are somehow related… my sister… I need 200 million for my business,” the user wrote.

Scarlett Gomez wittily replied that she only had the last name through marriage and joked that the requester should look elsewhere for such financial help.

“No, from my husband, you go collect that money 😂 that’s where my name comes from,” she replied.

In other news… ADC chairperson and socio-political activist Aisha Yesufu has warned Labor Party 2023 presidential candidate Peter Obi not to accept the vice-presidential position in the 2027 general election.

In a video circulating on social media, Yesouf vowed to oppose any presidential bid with Obi as his running mate. She believes the former Anambra State governor is the most qualified among the potential contenders and should be the presidential flag-bearer, not his deputy.

“I promise you. If Peter Obi becomes anyone’s running mate, I will oppose that ticket.”

“In my small power, even if I don’t support any other candidate, I will fight against them. Why do we always ask for the best to be second?” she said.
