Nigerian actresses, Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi and Wumi Toriola have finally ended their seven-year public feud.
The reconciliation took place on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at a cinema in Ikeja, Lagos, where the two stars were promoting their latest projects. Toyin was in attendance for her movie “Oversabi Aunty” while Wumi was promoting “Behind the Scenes” produced by Funke Akindele.
The heartwarming moment was captured in a video that went viral on social media. Umi said, “I miss you.” Jokingly asked Toyin to swear if she didn’t feel the same way. Toyin responded: “I miss you too.” When the two hugged.
The two actresses were once close friends, but their relationship fell apart after a series of online disagreements divided fans, GistLover reported.
The conflict reportedly began during the filming of Alakada Reloaded in 2017, when Umi accused Toyin of slapping her in a hotel room and warned her not to do it again. Tensions escalated in 2018 when Wu Mi publicly accused Toyin of fake engagement.
In 2023, Wu Mi also made a firm response to the rumors of a secret love affair with Toyin’s husband.
