Responding to the victory, Seni expressed her gratitude to all the artists and producers who contributed to the success of the project, including Wizkid in Nigeria and the bloody civilians.
“I thank all the amazing artists, producers and engineers who bravely took part in this project because it’s about Bob Marley’s legacy,” he said.
“I thank them for shooting songs, reinterpreting them and doing them in their own way. Artists like Bloody Civilians, Wezkidd, Daniel Caesar and Jesse Reyes.”
Bob Marley: One Love is a biographical film that depicts the life of a reggae idol and explores how he overcomes adversity and the journey behind revolutionary music.
This is not Seni’s first major industry recognition. In 2023, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack is his project as a music consultant and received four Grammy nominations.
Seni is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science, and is the CEO of the locals, co-founded a Lagos-based music magazine with Teni’Tezee’Zaccheaus in 2016. African voice.
