The highly anticipated film Will Will Wilnicle Wizkid’s outstanding journey from the streets of Lagos to the global stage captures his influence on Afrobeats and its influence on international music culture.
Directed by a filmmaker who has yet to be announced, the documentary promises exclusive footage, behind-the-scenes moments and has interviewed with people who were once a key part of the Wizkid journey.
Tribeca contains signals from the film, bringing global recognition of Afrobeats as a cultural force and further cementing Wizkid’s pioneering role in the global rise of the genre.
